this summer we've been playing around with some new drink recipes + wanted to share them with you. check out our list below—all with amazing heath benefits ✌🏻
turmeric is the ULTIMATE spice. here are some of our favorite benefits: boosts cognitive function, fights body-wide inflammation, promotes youthful skin, supports cardiovascular ❤️ function, supports joint & muscle health, helps mood balance 🧘♀️, boosts detoxification and supports/maintains natural weight loss + black pepper enhances bioavailability of turmeric.
if that's not enough for you, add in your coconut oil (strengthens immunity, eliminates mental fatigue and promotes digestion + nutrient absorption) and milk alternative for a creamy balance.
tip: the first part of this recipe makes a "turmeric paste" that can be stored in your fridge for up to a month. i make this drink every morning in place of coffee, so i usually double this recipe. also, try it iced to enjoy on a hot summer day.
LOVE. THIS. TEA, and we're all about the CBD! without the THC, CBD has a lot of the same benefits as weed, minus the high. as an iced tea this drink is the perfect relaxation go-to for a hot day. we added homegrown mint (which grows like a weed once planted in your garden) and some local honey for a sweet aftertaste. this can also be enjoyed as a hot drink before bed for an AMAZING nights sleep.
tip: brew in a large mason jar to store in your fridge + keep it for 2-3 days as an afternoon pick-me-up throughout the week. if you want to make a large batch, consider using 2-3 tea bags.
everyone deserves a night off + this cocktail is hard to resist. in a blender, puree a small handful of blackberries, 3-4 large slices of cucumber, a few sprigs of mint, and 3-4 tbsp of lime juice until well blended (makes about 4 drinks)
- fill an 8-12 ounce glass full of ice and add 1.5 ounces of vodka
- top with about a 1/2 a can of LaCroix blackberry cucumber sparkling water
- add 1-2 tbsp of the puree mixture and stir well
enjoy with friends, but we won't judge you if you keep it to yourself. we've all had our long days...
tip: this can also be enjoyed as a mocktail!
